Since the basis for all of Loulé Municipal Museum's activities is research, it keeps people informed of the findings through regular publications.
The Document Centre's Bulletin was published for the first time in February 2014. Originally published every two months, it is available only in digital format and its main purpose is to inform readers about the Document Centre's collection of books, photographs and newspapers.
The Bulletin is currently published once every three months.
The annual magazine Raízes ("Roots" in English) was published for the first time in 2013.
"Who are the Louletanos? ("Louletanos" is the Portuguese word for people from Loulé) What are they like? What are the characteristics of our culture? What are our traditions?" These are some of the questions that gave rise to this publication, which invites readers to learn more about Loulé and the people who live here. In short, Raízes is intended as a magazine for the dissemination of the municipality's cultural heritage, as well as a space for reflection and knowledge, thereby contributing to the contemporary construction of our identity.
