The Cândido Guerreiro (1871-1953) collection comprises numerous documents such as letters, postcards and photographs; a vast library containing around 1,500 works, some of which he wrote himself; and 200 objects (furniture, paintings, costumes and others) donated by his family.
The Condes de Alte Collection also comprises a library containing over a thousand books, as well as 40 other items, some of which are ethnographical in nature.
