The activity "Sorry, what was my name?" ("Desculpe, como me chamo?" in Portuguese) first began in 2014 and takes place on the first Wednesday of every month. The reason why the initiative began was to start putting names to the faces in the photographs in the collection of photographic studies by Father Guerreiro. This collection has been part of the Museum's inventory since 1992 and consists of a series of around 70,000 photographic records in different supports, which portray significant moments for the community in Loulé between the 1920s and 1940s. This activity invites the public to become acquainted with the collection and get involved in the identification of the faces in the photos, thereby contributing to the historical/social reconstruction of Loulé as it was in those days.
